Welcome to our journey. The purpose of my blog is not only to journal our life experience, but also to share what God is doing in our lives. I do not claim to be an expert in parenting, marriage, or even the Bible. But I do have a heart to share my experiences and the true love that God has for each and every one of us. You can read our testimony by clicking on the top of the page. And if you'd like to know about the Homeless Ministry my husband started, you can click on the Homeless tab. I hope you will comment freely on my posts and in my community.

Congratulations!

The winner of the Hearts at Home contest is Tina Vega! Please leave a comment, telling me which book you would like. Click here to view your choices and remember you can pick any book except Simply Romantic Nights. Leave your mailing address in the comments section as well. I won't post your address so no one will see it. Hearts at Home will send out your gift shortly after.

I'm actually a tiny bit glad that there were not too many names. Because writing each name out and cutting them out and folding them up was a little time consuming. And then when I went into our bedroom, where my hubby is laying in bed watching the debate, and walked up to his side of the bed with my hands cupped he had a terrifying look on his face. With that look he said "what are you doing?" as if I was going to drop ice cold water or a spider on him. :) ha, ha. Then I said, "pick my winner". He was really confused, but I think he had fun. OK - so the point is...if I do something like this again...I must figure out where to get and how to use the automatic blog winner picker ma jigger. Does anyone know what I'm talking about???

Thanks for blogging with me. I know it's hard to find time to comment with all the blogs out there. I know that I love reading blogs as I have time, but I rarely have the extra time to leave comments. It doesn't mean I don't want to or that I'm not hearing what's being said. :) In fact, sometimes I even read the comments on other people's blogs. This is an amazing way to travel on a journey with not only friends but also strangers that are all part of God's family as well. And then...we're not really strangers anymore. What an awesome way to spread God's Word!!!

And for those of you who've been praying with me about my Aunt Pat, thank you for answered prayers. Her 7 1/2 hour surgery was a success. They got most of her tumor (only microscopic parts left) only leaving a tiny bit on the nerve that controls her lower face and mouth. They'll start radiation and most likely follow that with chemo. Continued prayers for divine healing while here on earth would be awesome!

Psalm 105:1 "Give thanks to the Lord and proclaim his greatness. Let the whole world know what He has done."

Check back tomorrow for Favorite Foto Friday. The theme is Summer Memories.

Thank you Lord for what you've done!

  1. Very cool, thank you!!!! The Complete Guide to Getting and Staying Organized sounds like it was written for me.

BTW, you'd asked a question on my blog about the bloggy bling (i.e. the decorative bloggy papers, etc.) and I answered it there but I know it's not easy to back to the original posts to review comments, sooooo to answer your question - I know nothing about it! I hired this gal to do it for me:

    Thanks again!!
