Today she had surgery. First part - biopsy - not the news we were hoping for. It is not a lymphoma cancer, instead it is a more aggressive cancer. They went in and removed as much of the tumor as possible - about 95%. The surgeon called the surgery a success. Praise God that they were able to remove that much. Also praise God that there is no cancer in the rest of her body!
My heart is heavy for her and her family. Actually, more for her family than anything. Because you see, Kristie is amazing! Her faith is unbelievable. She is at peace and is trusting God for His will to be done. She is the one lying in bed with a tumor and yet she is constantly uplifting everyone else! She continues to stand on God's Word and praise Him and thank Him and trust Him!
This gives God the most amazing opportunity to let His glory shine! There are hundreds of friends, co-workers and family members praying for a complete healing. Wouldn't it be cool to have thousands praying?! Stop by her Caringbridge site and leave a note that you're praying. It would be so amazing for thousands to witness the miracle that we are proclaiming!!! Be part of a miracle and pray for Kristie!
I just had to copy and paste this from Kristie's CB Site. This was part of a post she wrote:
"Bless the Lord O my soul and all that is within me Bless HIS Holy Name!!!" Psalm 103 :1
Focus and Claim those verses in Isaiah 41:11-13 "" Behold all those who were incensed against you (the tumor) Shall be ashamed and disgraced; They shall be as NO THING. And those who strive with you ( the tumor) WILL PERISH! You shall seek them and NOT FIND THEM!! Those who contend with you. Those who war against you Shall be as nothing as a NONEXISTENT THING. Gor I, the Lord your God, will hold your right hand, Syaing to you, Fear not I will help you."
God is Good and I am totally trusting HIM. He has given me these wonderful Godly, African men as nurses who are laying hand on me and praying for me. They are going to pray over the hands of my surgeona also!!!
"Rejoice in the Lord always, agin I will say, REJOICE!" Let your gentleness be known to all men, The Lord is near." Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God." Phillipians 4:4-6
Love and Peace to ALL,
I am well,
Kristie
Wow! I mean how can you not be encouraged by that? She's facing the fight of her life and yet she's rejoicing! And if you know Kristie...you know that she truly is rejoicing! :)
You see, no matter where you are in life, you can rejoice. Find peace and joy in everything. It is possible!

Hi, I am new to your blog. I saw you on MckMama's live chat tonight talking about that book Loving your kids on purpose(I believe that is what it is called)
ReplyDeleteBut I came here and read this post. I love reading things like this. I believe in miracles! Miracles, signs, and wonders follow those who believe! Praise God, I hope to be able to keep up with this and see her miracle!
