Summer's End

This time of year is bitter-sweet for me.

BITTER because....
lazy mornings snuggling in pj's are coming to an end
spending days on end at the pool are coming to an end
water parks are closing
the warm weather will all too soon be over
the days are getting shorter

days of playing in the mud are coming to an end

days at the beach are coming to an end


our camping days are over

campfires are about over

and staying up late watching movies is coming to an end.

SWEET because...
our routine will be back
the kids will be reunited with some of their friends
we love to do homework ;)
our work schedules won't be so crazy
football season is here
and because we'll have to cherish the weekends even more!

Yes, as summer is coming to an end a new season is just around the corner!

    So true. Summer brings lots of freedom and fun things to do but I guess now it is time to get back to a routine. YAY for school sports... those are fun and HEY... Fall is coming...I love this time of year.
