Welcome to our journey. The purpose of my blog is not only to journal our life experience, but also to share what God is doing in our lives. I do not claim to be an expert in parenting, marriage, or even the Bible. But I do have a heart to share my experiences and the true love that God has for each and every one of us. You can read our testimony by clicking on the top of the page. And if you'd like to know about the Homeless Ministry my husband started, you can click on the Homeless tab. I hope you will comment freely on my posts and in my community.

December 11, 2010
This is what the blizzard left behind. Snow drifts taller than me. It was hard to get the full effect of the drifts. It was quite the storm! More than 20 inches!

Looking out the laundry room door.

After I opened the door.

It's 3 or 4 steps up to this door way.

This is from our family room.

I loved all the animal paw prints.

A snow storm we will remember always!

  1. Um..no thanks! I'll stay down here in the South where a dusting of snow is a big deal!

  2. I remember those days. When I lived in Oregon we always had so much wind in the winter time and we lived smack dab in the middle of a valley so we always had large drifts just like those! I loved them when I was a kid - no school! but hated trying to drive in blowing snow as a teen/young adult. Now we live in Cali where we get no snow but some incredible rain storms bringing flash floods every year, lucky us.
