Blizzard!

December 11, 2010
This is what the blizzard left behind. Snow drifts taller than me. It was hard to get the full effect of the drifts. It was quite the storm! More than 20 inches!

It's 3 or 4 steps up to this door way.

I loved all the animal paw prints.



A snow storm we will remember always!

    Um..no thanks! I'll stay down here in the South where a dusting of snow is a big deal!

    I remember those days. When I lived in Oregon we always had so much wind in the winter time and we lived smack dab in the middle of a valley so we always had large drifts just like those! I loved them when I was a kid - no school! but hated trying to drive in blowing snow as a teen/young adult. Now we live in Cali where we get no snow but some incredible rain storms bringing flash floods every year, lucky us.
