Welcome to our journey. The purpose of my blog is not only to journal our life experience, but also to share what God is doing in our lives. I do not claim to be an expert in parenting, marriage, or even the Bible. But I do have a heart to share my experiences and the true love that God has for each and every one of us. You can read our testimony by clicking on the top of the page. And if you'd like to know about the Homeless Ministry my husband started, you can click on the Homeless tab. I hope you will comment freely on my posts and in my community.

No matter what...

I will praise YOU!

I am going on 11 days of being sick.

I'm tired.

It takes all of my energy to do the simplest of tasks.

I will praise YOU!

This is not a good time for me to be sick.

I have lots to do, but I will rest in YOU!

I will take heart. I will take this time to thank YOU!

Instead of saying "why now?" I will say "now what Lord?"

We are in a battle. I do not fear the outcome. I trust the Lord. His ways are perfect.

Psalm 8
1 O Lord, our Lord, your majestic name fills the earth!
Your glory is higher than the heavens.
2 You have taught children and infants to tell of your strength,
silencing your enemies and all who oppose you.

3 When I look at the night sky and see the work of your fingers—
the moon and the stars you set in place—
4 what are mere mortals that you should think about them,
human beings that you should care for them?
5 Yet you made them only a little lower than God
and crowned them with glory and honor.

6 You gave them charge of everything you made,
putting all things under their authority—
7 the flocks and the herds
and all the wild animals,
8 the birds in the sky, the fish in the sea,
and everything that swims the ocean currents.

9 O Lord, our Lord, your majestic name fills the earth!

Lord, you are my strength. You desire for me to be well. Your will is for heaven to be here on earth. There's no sickness in heaven. I claim that for me. I silence the enemy who desires to keep me from doing your will.

I am your daughter, a daughter of the King!

I will praise YOU Lord!
