This is an email I received from my friend, Kristie Foreman. Rather than re-write this, I copied her email. So you know the urgency of this prayer request, Rachel was given 1 1/2 weeks to live. This has been confirmed by a 2nd opinion at Mayo Clinic. I hate cancer!
"We are needing to stand in the gap for a friend and do some battling. I know some of you are aware of my friend Rachel from Hosanna who was diagnosed with Mellanoma (Skin Cancer). I just met Rachel a couple of weeks ago in the prayer chapel. She is a beautiful 14 year old girl with more life to live and there is a Holy, Righteous Anger rising up inside me for what the avenger is trying to do. I know many of you share the same heart and will press in wrestling with the LORD as Jacob did until we receive this blessing/healing for Rachel. My friend Andy Ronchak and I have been sharing verses back and forth and I have attached some declarative verses to pray over Rachel. You are all needed like never before…..ESPECIALLY YOUR CHILDREN!!! Psalm 8:2 “Out of the mouths of babes and infants and children you have founded a BULWARK because of your foes to SILENCE and CONFUSE the plans of the enemy and avenger.” (NRSV)
The other scripture I am taking before the Lord is the parable of the unjust judge and the widow. Luke 18:1-8…………..”Lord God, there has been injustice done to our sister Rachel, and we join together and come to you on her behalf until justice is given to her. Your Word says, “You who live in the shelter of the Most High will REST in the shadow of the Almighty. Rachel will say to the Lord, ‘He is my Refuge, my fortress, my God in whom I trust.’ Your word says (psalm 91) that you will deliver her from the fowler’s snare. “You are a righteous, just judge and she is your precious daughter and we will continually come before you just as the widow did until she was granted justice. Thank you heavenly daddy. All for the GLORY of YOUR NAME JESUS."
Welcome to our journey. The purpose of my blog is not only to journal our life experience, but also to share what God is doing in our lives.
