Welcome to our journey. The purpose of my blog is not only to journal our life experience, but also to share what God is doing in our lives. I do not claim to be an expert in parenting, marriage, or even the Bible. But I do have a heart to share my experiences and the true love that God has for each and every one of us. You can read our testimony by clicking on the top of the page. And if you'd like to know about the Homeless Ministry my husband started, you can click on the Homeless tab. I hope you will comment freely on my posts and in my community.

A Dual Post

This post is 2-fold. There is a blogger who has been in the spot light and has been on the receiving end of relentless judgement and name bashing. It's very quite sad. The blogger I'm talking about is MckMama. She has 4 beautiful children and one of them was very ill with SVT up until recently when he was miraculously healed! God was all over this one and guiding the hands of the doctors in a very risky surgery. Well, recently one of the name bashers came to her to apologize and ask for forgiveness. MckMama gave her forgiveness and now they've joined together to do a duo give-away. I just think that's awesome. Forgiveness is so important. Of course, first of all because we are forgiven and saved by grace. Secondly, Jesus tells us to forgive one another. Third, it's good for you. Holding on the unforgiveness is like drinking poison and expecting the other person to die. Forgiveness is healing.

Ok...now's the part where I tell you how you can have a chance to get in on this give-away. Although feel free to not enter the drawing to give me a better chance of winning! ha, ha! Oh, you want to know what they're giving away? Well, MckMama is giving away a brand new Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 2 program. Check it out and enter yourself here.

The other blogger, Grammie Mommy, who has joined forces with MckMama is giving away a brand new Adobe Photoshop Elements 8. Enter for this drawing here.

As a result of this give-away many people are saying that the apology was not real and that Grammie Mommy is scamming everyone. I would just say that it is not our place to judge someone's motives. And I pray that more people will step out and forgive others.

Matthew 6:14 If you forgive those who sin against you, your heavenly Father will forgive you.

Merry Christmas,
Christine

  1. I would love to believe the apology was sincere. That's my story and I'm sticking to it. I think the entire thing is so heartwarming so I will refuse to believe it was a scam.

    Merry Christmas!

  2. I agree, i think it was sincere and it should remind us all to forgive and move on. I have this theory that if I find a blog and do not agree with the things they talk about then I move on. I can not imagine taking the time to complain about them. I have so enjoyed reading her blog. I hope others are encouraged to go to the ones they have wronged or felt like have wronged them and start fresh
