We had a fun Halloween!
We talked about how when Jesus comes into our life,
He cleans us out to make room for the Holy Spirit.
God sent Jesus to do what we couldn't, take away our sins. Romans 10:9
We get new eyes.
Turn my eyes from worthless things,
and give me life through your word. Psalm 119:37
This is serious stuff!
I pray that God, the source of hope, will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust in him. Then you will overflow with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit. Romans 15:13

This was her first Halloween she spent with friends and not trick-or-treating with us.

He also went off trick-or-treating with all the neighborhood kids
and some parents.
These two best buds got to hang out!

It's a good thing we love Wendy and Nathan,
since our girls are the best of friends
and can't go more than a few days without playing!
Wendy and I took the girls trick-or-treating,
while the guys kept the fire going!
My mom ended up joining us as well.
Jesus spoke to the people once more and said, “I am the light of the world. If you follow me, you won’t have to walk in darkness, because you will have the light that leads to life.” John 8:12
It was a beautiful evening!
