Summer Vacation - Take 2

Ok...for some reason this post didn't actually post. This was from our vacation back in July. Strange.

Day 2 of our vacation the guys took the kids out on the lake.

What's a girl to do?

Tammy and I went into town.

We found the cutest shops

(the kind where it's one shop after another down both sides of the street)

 and made a day out of it.

Too bad I left my camera at the cabin. :(

I even saved Dave the hassle of buying me an anniversary gift.

This necklace and earrings. FUN!

Got it gift wrapped and everything!

Ha, ha!

We did get back in time to see this storm come in.

Pete is such a nice guy that when Dave fell asleep "early"

this is all he did. :)

Day 3

We originally were going to leave this day.

BUT...it was just too beautiful to leave.

So...we stayed.

We did a little tubing, but it was a very windy day.

Then we went out to dinner

to celebrate our 15th Wedding Anniversary.

It was nice of our friends

to treat us and spend our evening with us.
