Welcome to our journey. The purpose of my blog is not only to journal our life experience, but also to share what God is doing in our lives. I do not claim to be an expert in parenting, marriage, or even the Bible. But I do have a heart to share my experiences and the true love that God has for each and every one of us. You can read our testimony by clicking on the top of the page. And if you'd like to know about the Homeless Ministry my husband started, you can click on the Homeless tab. I hope you will comment freely on my posts and in my community.

Good Friday

When I think about what today must have been like for Jesus, I can't even imagine.

His whole life was for today.  Today as I reflect I'm overcome with thankfulness.

You can read Luke 23 for the events of the crucifixion.

Some of His last words were "Father, forgive them, for they don't know what they are doing." Luke 23:34
They are crucifying Him and He asks Father to forgive them.  I can't comprehend that.

Here's a video that is very powerful and very difficult to watch.
Yet it depicts the decision that God made to save us.

I have no more words for this.  Just complete thankfulness.

Jesus' last words "Fahter, I entrust my spirit into your hands!" Luke 23:46
